Cookie Policy

Third Street Counseling · Effective Date: 09/15/2026

This site uses an opt-in model. Nothing but the essential cookies runs until you say so, and you can change your mind at any time from the Cookie preferences link in the footer. Turning a category off never limits your access to any part of the site.

What This Covers

What this policy covers

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on thirdstreetcounseling.com, why, and how you control them. It does not cover any other website we link to. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, including local storage, session storage and pixels, work in comparable ways, and this policy applies to them too.

Categories

The categories we use

Four categories. Only the first is on before you choose.

Essential · Always on
Required for the site to work and to remember the choice you make here. They do not track you across other websites and they cannot be switched off.
Analytics · Off until you turn it on
Helps us see which pages are visited and how the site performs. Data is aggregated and is not used to identify you. Nothing in this category loads until you consent.
Functional · Off until you turn it on
The embedded map on the contact page. With this off, the map is replaced by the address and a link to directions, which work without it.
Advertising · Not used
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not build remarketing audiences from the pages you visit on this site. If that ever changes, this policy and the preference panel will be updated before it begins.

The Cookie Table

Every cookie this site can set

Including the essential ones. Third-party names and durations are controlled by that provider and can change.

Your Control

How to change a choice

Open the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page, adjust the categories, and save. The change takes effect immediately without reloading.

We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we record an opt-out automatically and you are never shown the banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the essential ones may affect how the site works.

California residents can read more about their rights, and submit a request that does not depend on browser state, on our Your Privacy Choices page.
