Terms of Service
Third Street Counseling · Effective Date: 09/15/2026
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Third Street Counseling is an out-of-network practice, so this applies to every client we see. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your service. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate, and see the link below if a bill arrives that is materially higher than the estimate you were given. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Fees and Insurance
Third Street Counseling is out of network with insurance plans. We provide a superbill after each session, which you may submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Reimbursement depends on your specific plan. We recommend contacting your insurer to ask what your out-of-network outpatient mental health benefit covers. Session fees are provided in writing before your first session as part of your Good Faith Estimate.
Text Message Program
This messaging program sends appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, and support messages to people who have requested a consult through thirdstreetcounseling.com and have explicitly opted in to receive text messages. Opt-in is collected through our consult request form using a dedicated consent checkbox, or by telling a clinician directly during a consult. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of receiving services.
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to the number that messaged you. We will confirm your unsubscribe by text, and you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, opt in again through the form. For help, reply HELP, email michelehalltherapy@gmail.com, or call (949) 338-4445 during business hours.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies with your appointments. For questions about your plan, contact your wireless provider. Our program works with all major United States wireless carriers. You must be 18 or older to opt in. We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CTIA guidelines. See our Privacy Policy at thirdstreetcounseling.com/privacy.
